Yesterday we celebrated a retirement lunch for Dr. Parris Baker. He has been at Gannon since 1995 as a faculty member and has helped countless students to reach their full potential. Dr. Baker’s office reflected the kind of teacher and mentor that he has always been, often filled with conversation, laughter, encouragement, and care. He understood that teaching is not only about lessons but also about presence, relationship, and helping students see their own worth and possibility. His lasting impact on Gannon will be felt for many years to come. Dr. Baker has truly left a mark on our department, as evident by the countless alumni that return to visit. We will miss him more than words can express and we are thankful for all of the work and passion that he has put into his time at Gannon. Thank you Dr. Baker!!

Captain Tom Lenox - Class of 1998 - Double majored in Criminal Justice & Mortuary Science

Mayor Daria S. Devlin and Erie Police Dept. Captain of Community Policing and Recruitment, Tom Lenox are at the Pennsylvania Capitol today for Governor Shapiro's 2026-27 Budget Address.

It was a special moment when the Governor recognized Captain Lenox and gave him a shout-out during his address.
