It is not unusual for your teenager to not have an idea about what they want to study or want to be, but it doesn't mean they aren't thinking about it. The problem is they do not know how to find answers. Unresolved questions cause anxiety, depression, and disengagement. A college advisor's first priority is to help your teenager explore who they are and what interests them so they can create a pathway forward to a successful future.
