Ronni L. Gordon and David M. Stillman, authors Ronni L. Gordon, PhD and David M. Stillman, PhD have written over 40 foreign language textbooks, reference books, and instructional multimedia programs.

Their titles include the popular The Ultimate Spanish Review and Practice, 5th Edition (McGraw Hill). Gordon, Ph.D., is a prominent author of foreign language textbooks and materials for multimedia, including more than 30 titles in Spanish and other languages. She has taught and coordinated Spanish language programs and taught Spanish American literature at Harvard University, Boston University, a

nd Cornell University. A foreign language consultant, she has read for the National Endowment for the Humanities, presented at the United States Department of Education, and consulted on states' K-12 academic standards for world languages. She has presented at conferences on foreign language pedagogy and Spanish American literature as one of the first scholars to give a college course on Spanish American women writers. She has been recognized by Uruguay’s Ministerio de Educación y Cultura for promoting Uruguayan literature.

Our "The Complete Ultimate Spanish" is a first- and second-year program, textbook and app, designed for beginning through advanced learners of Spanish. We know you'll enjoy the dialogue format through which we present structures of Spanish sentences and a broad, authentic, and current vocabulary. For example, below some vocabulary items from Chapter 20, Diálogos 1 and 2, "La universidad y la libertad de expresión" (The University and Freedom of Speech).

Try acting out the dialogues with a friend or fellow student, and for added practice, use these expressions in writing your own dialogue!
