We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Riley Costello, a student in the School of Arts & Sciences. Those who knew Riley will remember her bright, energetic presence on our campus and her kind soul, which left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path. She was a valued member of our Holy Family community, and her presence will be deeply missed.

The Holy Family University community will gather together on Wednesday, September 16, at 4:30 p.m. in the chapel at Nazareth Academy High School to remember Riley. We hold Riley, her family, and all who knew and loved her in our thoughts and prayers as we mourn this devastating loss.

Convocation marked the beginning of the academic journey for our newest students. Here’s to an unforgettable journey ahead for the Class of 2030, our largest incoming class ever, as they begin building their own legacy.

To inspire our newest class, keynote speaker and alumnus Joe Forkin ’95, President and CEO of the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation, said it best:

“In a pretty short span of time, Holy Family went from a place I drove to for class to my school. It became the place where I belonged and spent time with my friends. Make sure it does that for you, too.”
