Our team had a great time cheering on the students competing at the 2026 National Civics Bee Regional Competition yesterday! Dr. Tyler Syck, the Director of the Center for Public Service, was one of the judges. Our staff even managed to snag the top two spots in the audience participation portion! (Looks like we'll have to brush up if we want to improve our scores next year. There is always more to learn in the world of public service!)

Can't wait to see what these students do in the future! Thank you to the Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and all the people who helped make the event possible. Good luck to everyone competing in the statewide competition! https://www.sekchamber.com/nationalcivicsbee/
