NASA ROVER 2

NASA ROVER 2 The team is designing and manufacturing a human-powered rover that meets NASA requirements. the rover will compete in the 2020/2021 NASA Rover Challange.

NRT2 is comprised of a group of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Technology students at Pittsburg State University who are working together on a senior design project. the team will design, build, and test technologies that enable the rover to perform in a wide variety of environments. The challenge will mimic the opportunities, challenges, and decision- making that our future planetary ex

plorers will face in interplanetary space. the planned course for the competition will require two students, one female, and one male, to traverse a terrain of 0.50 miles that includes a simulated field of asteroid debris, stram bed, erosion ruts, and crevasses of various sizes. Your financial gift will be used to cover costs associated with materials to construct the rover and traveling expenses to the competition. the team is seeking to raise $3000 to cover all expenses. None of this would be possible without the financial support of alumni and friends of Pittsburg State University. We kindly ask you to consider a financial gift to the NRT2 project.
