Join the Social Work Association for tonight’s blanket making event. All of the blankets made will be donated to a local nonprofit in Pittsburgh! Any and ALL are welcome to join us today, 9/23, on the 5th floor of the University Commons.

Welcome everyone! Our first event this year is going to be a lounge opening of our Social Work Lounge! This is also going to act as our first informal meeting to meet BSWA leadership as well as interact with fellow social work majors and minors. There will be drinks and snacks, so come visit us in the lounge @ 6:30PM on 9/16 on the 5th floor of Antonian!

Happy Earth Day! Today we remind ourselves to respect the earth we live in and if possible to make changes in our lives. Though it is important to make changes if we can for the earth, remember that as individuals we can only do so much and that we need to work and advocate for bigger companies to make important changes for the earth as well!

Upcoming Event! This upcoming Monday, the 15th we are hosting a Social Work Professionalism Zoom event with the Office of Career Development for social workers to learn more about job searching, resumes, and interviews specifically in relation to the social work field. Cant wait to see you there!
