The Pioneer Dance Team is the official dance team of the University of Wisconsin - Platteville. This team of up to18 dancers specializes in pom, lyrical, and jazz and performs at all home football, men's basketball, and women's basketball games as well as other various university functions. During the halftime performances our routines are very fast-paced and dancers should be expected to learn ne

w routines quickly. With two hours of practice daily Monday-Friday, the Pioneer Dance Team is a large time commitment. However, the Pioneer Dance Team members still find time to excel academically as well as participate in various social, and community events.
