UW-Platteville SPE is a club at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville which gives students that have a passion for the plastics industry, more hands on experience outside of the classroom. Membership provides an excellent chance to meet practicing engineers and make valuable contacts. The technical meetings, tours, and literature provide information that will help in the classroom. The opportuni

ty to list SPE on a résumé will demonstrate professionalism to potential employers. Membership will increase your chances to get local scholarships, loans, or compete for internships and cash rewards. By becoming active with SPE you will have an opportunity to test your leadership ideas and abilities. Your involvement with SPE will provide an introduction to plastics, advanced technology, careers and industry.

Hey All keep the following evenings open!
April 11th
April 25th

These will be our last 2 meetings of the semester.

April 11th we will talk about the next year and discuss what is next for SPE at Platteville (look at officers for next year).
April 25th we will be having a cookout as one last hoorah before graduation weekend, exams and summer!

Please be sure to keep these evenings open. As always, 6pm in Russell 13.

Due to the situation on campus today, SPE is currently cancelled for tonight. I am not sure if they will re-open campus or how this will all play out but as of right now our meeting tonight will be cancelled.

Just to keep the calendar updated, remember we will have our second meeting of the semester this upcoming monday! That is Feb. 8th @ 6pm in Russell 13.
*We will be analyzing a possible project given to us by the Track and Field Team and discussing updates in the lab!

Our first meeting will be next monday, January 25th at 6pm! Hope to see you all there and bring a friend along too! There are a lot changes that are happening this semester. It is guaranteed to be a fun filled time and we are going to learn a lot as well as get a lot of great projects done!

The meeting times for the rest of the Spring Semester are:
2nd & 4th Monday's of each month at 6pm in Russel Rm. 13.

There will also be open lab to work on any projects or side tasks on wednesday nights.

Good morning Everyone! I hope you all had a great break! It is time for a new semester and another fun filled semester in SPE! There are a few changes this semester with the officers and the plastic program in general. Stay tuned, we will discuss these changes at our first meeting which will be next week!
