Food Recovery Network at PSU

Food Recovery Network at PSU Food Recovery Network is a nationwide movement turning food waste into food recovery. Plymouth State University's Chapter is one of 192 in the nation.

Food Recovery Network began at the University of Maryland in 2011 and since then has expanded to 42 states nationwide and establishing 192 chapters on college campuses. Collectively, FRN has donated 1.2 million pounds of food since it's start. Plymouth State's Chapter began in Fall of 2015 and collectively has donated 1,500 pounds of food to four various locations in Plymouth, NH. Working side by

side with Sodexo Dining Services and our Partner Agencies we are able to build community and establish a new norm of fighting food waste and feeding the hungry.
