Though the Spring semester is soon to be over, there's still time to introduce to you the amazing Writing Center Staff! Our team of eight has worked hard these past few months; we've done more than 640 read and responses! Wow! Welcome to NaNoWriMo! This project challenges creative writers to write 50,000 words(minimum amount for a short novel) from November 1st until November 30th.

The goal of NaNoWriMo is to keep writers motivated, and the CWT wishes the best of luck to any on-campus participants! Feel free to post below your progress and/or genre of your work!

Welcome to the CWT's first ever page! Our campus workstation is now officially social! Updates about what is going on in the CWT office will be posted regularly and followers will be notified of special events going on.

Speaking of special events, tomorrow( that's right, Tuesday 10.19.15) we will have cookies and cocoa in our office from 9 AM till 5 PM in honor of National Day on Writing(NDOW).

If you're interested in participating in the NDOW contest, we will have entry forms available as well as a chance to either 'finish the sentence' or write a 'six-word autobiography' for a chance to win a pocket sized moleskine notebook....yay! Make sure to drop by and share your words with us!
