I wanted to continue going through our released discography and talk about the story behind the songs we have released
Today's song is I & You. So named because at the time I was dating someone who went to Indiana University.
This song was the first real love song I wrote, and since then it has come to mean to me the joys of being in the company of your partner. The way they build you up, push you to do better, and how you can lay out your anxieties and fears and have them really hear you and without fear of being judged.
It is also the song I wrote to force myself to learn barr chords. Because I knew if I didn't put them in a song I would avoid learning them.
