Student Project: Delta Phi Epsilon at RIC The official page of the Gamma Xi chapter of the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority.

On March 17, 1917-- five courageous women attending New York University School of Law, sought out a place to call home. They wanted to build and organization that took girls and shaped them into strong woman. Together, they formed Delta Phi Epsilon with the purpose of accepting all races and religions-- one of the first non-secrtarian social sororities to do so. Today Delta Phi Epsilon celebrates

100 years of sisterhood, justice and love. Since out founding, we have grown into a thriving organization with over 67,000 initiated members and chapters located across the United States and Canada. Delta Phi Epsilon's Philanthropies are the Delta Phi Epsilon Education Foundation, The National Association for Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD) and The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF)
