First place in our student cooking competition was earned by Rayvon Miley, Mason Kowal, Addisen Vargo, and Juliana Shane. Their outstanding performance earned each competitor a medallion and a scholarship. Congratulations!

Congratulations to Asher Jaffre, Nicolette Frey, and Kaylee Kerr for earning second place in our student cooking competition. They each won a medallion and a scholarship for their hard work in the competition.

Congratulations to Nicolette Frey and Rayvon Miley who were recently awarded the ACF Groundhog Chapter Sweet Success Scholarship. The Sweet Success Scholarship was created by the American Culinary Federation Groundhog Chapter to support students at the IUP Academy of Culinary Arts.

Congratulations! Dymeir McCrae and Pheonix Sharpe have been selected as this year's recipients of the Linda Drummond Deitman Scholarship. This scholarship will help with their educational expenses while at the Academy of Culinary Arts.

The students of the Ice Carving Club, along with their advisor Chef Thomas Barnes, braved the cold temperatures this weekend to carve their annual Groundhog Day sculptures. Check out the ice carvings at the Academy in person if you’re in town this week. Happy Groundhog Day!
