The FBLA concept was developed in 1937 by Dr. Hamden L. Forkner of Columbia University. In 1958, the first PBL collegiate chapter was chartered in Iowa.

Dishawn McCall, President Michelle Shorter, Vice-President Jalen Bracey, Secretary FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is the largest business career student organization in the world. Hoke County High School FBLA is known to be the most active organization school-wide. The club events that we attend are, but is not limited to, Leadership Conferances, designed to spread the facts about FBLA and a chance to communicate with other members, advisers, and officers in your region. Regional Competitions, an opportunity to compete in things that include FBLA Principles and Procedures, Computer Applications, Accounting, Public Speaking and many more. The most fun we have is at STATE CONFERANCE, where we compete in a number of events with the majority of NC schools attending on a 3-day trip to a well-known city in NC. National Competitions are for those who place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. We also host HCHS Pageants and Talent Shows!!! DUES: $20.00 JOIN US ON THURSDAYS in Ms.Groves classroom, M30, BUCK ALLEY!!
