Excited to finally share these photos of two of my closest friends! A little less than a year ago, Nic popped the question on a candle lantern lit mountain at sunrise on Oahu, complete with a picnic meal, and surrounded by some of his best friends. Earlier then, they had another engagement session done on site there but this is I guess part 2, a Southern California fall theme, since this is where they reside. Looking forward to their June destination wedding in Hawaii! although their usual photographers Jon Min Photography and I will be taking a break donning groomsmen suits instead of photo work clothes. =D

AGES since I've held a camera, but these bright smiles made the wait more than worth it today. Cannot wait for these two to get hitched in paradise this summer! Look forward to the set, along with a special cutie furry guest ;)

There are few times that I have had a beaming smile while editing a photoshoot, and this is one of them! I think you all would agree =) Jon and I were thrilled when Justin and Erica asked us to do their maternity pictures as they are both some good friends of ours. Future medical physician and dentist, uber-talented musicians, photogenic to a T, and kind individuals, Oliver, you are incredibly blessed to have these two wonderful God-fearing people as your parents. As you go through your life, I hope and pray that you can become ever closer to Him. Enjoy! These are some of our favorites!

Disneyland Engagement, check it out! =)

Always wondered out of my closest friends, who would be the first to get engaged, turns out its actually two of them, Sarah and Andrew! Our whole former house used to go to Disney together, so its only fitting that we got to go back for a extra special occasion in their lives. Love these two and I wish both of them a blessed new life together soon. Can't wait to be an uncle ;) There are a few other pictures coming with some behind the scenes in the future, so be on the lookout!

I've been incredibly behind in posting due to school, but here is an engagement session that I loved doing in Ojai. For this 2 day engagement/wedding session, we we're worried about finding a suitable location for the engagement portraits. On the way to Ojai, Jon and I mentally noted how pretty this place, and glad it came to mind later when we needed it. In short, always take the long route up when you need ideas for locations in new places =)

What better way to close the sabbath than spend it with great people in a beautiful place? I've been good friends with Justin and Erica since the beginning of college and even though I sometimes forget they're now married, its been such a joy to see the progression of their relationship through all these years, especially with the upcoming new edition to their family. Baby boy McAuliffe is almost done cooking so I'm glad we got to get this session in before he arrives! It almost didn't get to happen due to some personal reasons, but God is good =) Can't wait to share this particular shoot with you all. Thanks to Jon as always for being the best assistant

Loma Linda certainly doesn't translate into beautiful hill without a good cause! Sunday's event at Campus Hill Church was my FIRST wedding shoot in the city I call home surprisingly. Some background on this lovely pair: Trina is dental classmate who I remember asking me a year ago to play cello or shoot for her wedding when she did get married. I am incredibly happy to say, I actually did both! I swapped out my camera for a short while to play for my beautiful friend when she walked down the aisle. Andrew is a ophthalmologist resident who I found out grew up in Sebring, Florida 5 mins from my hometown of Avon Park. What are the odds? Although Jon and I are (still) recovering from this past exciting weekend, we had an amazing time and we cannot wait to share the pictures in the future =)

Spent the (busy) weekend spending time with some of my favorite people, Andrew and Sarah, who also happen to be my former housemates! Disneyland is one of my absolute favorite places to visit, so you can imagine my excitement when they asked me to shoot their engagement there AND spend a night at the Paradise Pier Hotel. Look forward to lots of magic and pixie-dust filled photos posted later! ;)
