Love and Honor Weekend is our new in-person event, full of tours of the greater Atlanta area. Bring the family for a fun weekend, catch up with your old college friends, or spend time networking with other Miami alums while learning about the ATL area.

Love and Honor Weekend in Atlanta, Georgia, will be packed with cultural, social, and intellectual events that will connect Miami University alumni, faculty, and friends with one another and back to their alma mater. Including exclusive tours and excursions as well as diverse lectures and social events — all with a Miami angle — this new event from the Miami University Alumni Association will take place March 9-11, 2023. With topics ranging from art and gardens to civil rights and sports, the weekend will give us an opportunity to explore the rich story and vibrant beauty of Atlanta. We hope you’ll join us.

Virtual Goal Setting and Vision Board Workshop

It is never too late to start setting goals! Join the Miami University Alumni Association for a Goal Setting and Vision Board Workshop on Tuesday, March 15 at 7:00 pm ET. We will be guided by Miami friend, Dr. Philecia C. Avery, Founder & Principal of Philecia Dayle, LLC.

This 1.5 hour guided online workshop will help you to​ set goals and​ map out a clear vision and a focused strategic plan for yourself. This will help to give you a sense of where you currently are, where you want to go, a plan to get there and it helps to focus resources and energy.

For every aspiring whiskey warrior or anyone else who wants to be just a bit more bourbon savvy, this is one virtual experience that you will not want to miss! Join us on Saturday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m. ET as we taste our way through a flight of three every-day bourbons worth your buck that can be found in stores around the country.

During the evening, we will show you how to get the most out of your bourbon pours including tips for preparing the palette and engaging the senses. Between sips, Phil will share a bit of bourbon’s fascinating history and and dazzle you with some great stories and history that are behind each of these bourbon bottles and brands. Bring your curiosity, your whiskey glass and your questions. We promise you will learn something new about bourbon and maybe even discover a favorite new whiskey in the process!

Miami Athletics is excited to announce the inaugural RedHawks Virtual 5K and Fun Run! The RedHawks Virtual 5K and Fun Run will be held August 1-9. A virtual run can be completed at any location and any time during the open event date. Registration is open now until August 9. Registration cost is $40 and includes an official high-performance race t-shirt, print-at-home racer's bib, ticket voucher for a 2020 Miami RedHawks home football game, and print-at-home finisher's certificate.
