The Kappa Gamma Chapter of Theta Tau is part of the Atlantic Region. We are based out of the School of Engineering at Virginia Commonwealth University. The chapter was founded on September 9, 2000. We have grown in chapter size to over 40 members with a wonderful brotherhood and high level of professionalism. Our chapter is very active within the VCU Engineering School with events such as Theta Ta
u Tuesday Pizza Sales, hosting of Coffee and Bagel Hour, and the Theta Tau Speaker Series. We also participate in community service opportunities around Richmond such as Highway Clean-up, STEM Tutoring, and work at the Boys and Girls Club of Richmond. Our members also benefit from private events ranging from financial advising sessions, resume workshops, and facility tours at companies such as Afton Chemical and Blueprint Automation. Along with our many professional and philanthropic activities we still make much time for brotherhood activities such as potluck dinners, movie nights, and alumni football games. We are always recruiting and looking for more members to become part of this amazing and quite successful brotherhood.
