Happy Founders’ Day to our beautiful Sorors of ! 💙🤍

More than a century ago, our Triumphant Five Pearls envisioned a sorority committed to inspiring positive change, elevating communities, promoting academic excellence, and fostering unity. Today, we proudly honor that vision—rooted in the enduring principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood.

As we celebrate our 106th year of service and sisterhood and unite for our Global Day of Service in Jackson, Mississippi, we pause to reflect on just how far we have come. We stand firmly on the legacy built by those who paved the way, while carrying forward their promise to advocate for change, uplift communities, and strengthen families across the globe.

Leading by example through The Power of S.H.E. Community Blueprint, we are confronting the Black maternal health crisis and speaking out against persistent inequities—demonstrating the true power of intentional, impactful service.

This is our moment to let our voices be heard and act with unity, purpose, and boldness. We are extraordinary. We are the Power of S.H.E.
Happy Founders’ Day, Sisters! 💙🤍

Seven educators came together at Cornell University on December 4th, 1906 to build a brotherhood that not only supports and encourages black students to pursue higher education, but also focuses on serving the community.

Throughout its history, Alpha Phi Alpha has played a significant role in the civil rights movement and has been involved in various social and political initiatives aimed at addressing racial inequality. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃!

💙This Thanksgiving, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is deeply grateful for the bonds of sisterhood and the strength of our community. As we give thanks for the love, unity, and support that make our sisterhood unique, we also pause to honor the rich cultures and histories celebrated during Native American Heritage Month, for those whose resilience continues to shape our nation’s story.

As we gather with family and friends, may we lean into those meaningful connections, nurturing the bonds that ground us, creating new memories, and cherishing the moments that make life truly full.

Let us also remember those less fortunate and embrace the spirit of gratitude by giving our time, compassion, and support to others in need.

Fighting for babies born too soon 💜💙🕊️

Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn mortality. Each year, over 15 million babies worldwide are born prematurely, with more than 1 million tragically not surviving. In the United States alone, 1 in 10 babies is born prematurely — a rate that has surged by 36% since 1981. For more than 46 years, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated has proudly partnered with the March of Dimes to raise awareness, gather resources, and drive action in the fight to prevent premature births.

As we observe National Prematurity Awareness Day, we invite you to join us and March of Dimes advocates this Sunday at local churches as we share vital information on prematurity, its impact on our communities, and proactive steps we can take together.

Here’s how you can make a difference:

Donate to support life-saving research, advocacy, and programs.

Share your story to connect with and support other parents.

Continue advocating for and policies like the Momnibus Act, prioritizing moms and babies.

For more information on Prematurity Awareness Month or World Prematurity Day on November 17th, please visit March of Dimes at www.marchofdimes.org.
