A trailblazer in the civil rights movement, Dr. King's advocacy for non-violent protest earned him the Nobel Peace Prize. His birthday became a federal holiday in 1983, thanks to a grassroots campaign. We honor Dr. King's memory and invite you to tag us in your King Holiday Service projects this weekend and Monday.
