-Philanthropy-
"To receive much you must give much"
The Sigmas of Eta Theta have always worked diligently to not only better themselves, but to also better the lives of those around them. Every year the chapter donates thousands of dollars to the Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation. The Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation includes our philanthropy, the Robbie Page Memorial, which sponsors play therapy for hospitalized children. Robbie Page was the son of Tri Sigma's fourth national President, Mary Hastings Holloway Page. His death from polio prompted his parents to create the Robbie Page Memorial Fund in 1951. In 1954 Tri Sigma adopted the fund as its national philanthropy. This is why our sorority focuses on the foundation's motto of "Sigma Serves Children".

While we are all feeling the impact of ending the year in an unexpected way, we’d like to take a moment to highlight our seniors that had to say goodbye to The Hill one last time. Seniors, we know this is a hard time for you: you’ve lost your last spring formal, spring recruitment, and a proper senior send off, but the chapter has appreciated everything you have brought to leave your legacy. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Paige: your kindness was felt by all.
Megan: your leadership and care will not be forgotten.
Jana: your art and Secretary skills brought so much light to us.
Jess: your compassion and hugs will be remembered.
Lauren: your jokes, authenticity, and fun events planned will live on.
T: you knew how to make us laugh every day and your coffee addiction was by far the worst.
Vanessa: you always knew how to help when a sister was in need.
Kayla, we loved adding you to our chapter this year!
Kelsey: your smile and money managing skills were stellar.
Christiana: your parliamentary procedure and open ear to listen when others needed to talk were appreciated! ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Many of us didn’t get the the chance to say goodbye to you, and you will be missed! We can’t wait for you to come back to alumni events. Faithful unto death 💜

Happy holidays from the Sigmas! We hope this New Year brings you joy, friends, family, and good memories!

One of our sisters delivered blankets to those who need them today! One of the many reasons we love being Sigmas; getting the chance to help others this holiday season!

Thanks to Emma and Eta Theta Chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma for making blankets for our clients to stay warm on these very chilly days!
