Soon after receiving his degree in Management Information Systems from Auburn University, Mike founded and then operated a vacation rental advertising business for 10+ years as CEO/Owner. The business was eventually acquired by VRBO. Mike also founded his own software consulting company in 2007, helping large corporations with their Financial and HR software. Mike is a founding member of the St. Pete-Clearwater Auburn Alumni Affiliate, serving as President of the non-profit since inception in December 2019. The Affiliate's goal is to foster the Auburn spirit while also raising scholarship money to award local students. These scholarships are managed directly by Auburn University. Our Affiliate awarded the first Auburn Club/Affiliate scholarship award in Pinellas County history! Offsetting some of the student's expenses, it all helps! Since that time, 4+ more scholarship awards have been granted. The scholarship endowment will leave a legacy to future Auburn students, granting a scholarship award annually for essentially ever (via the interest). Growing up on an avocado farm builds character, work ethic, establishes values, responsibility, and nurtures the skill of working together. Mike's dad still farms the same family farm at 88 years young! Over 15 varieties and shipping to markets such as Publix and Winn-Dixie nationwide. Farm life taught Mike that no task or goal is too difficult. Where there is a will, there is a way. About last night. But first, Hope says she has us next sporting event.

Apologies fellow Lightning fans. Our family left home with 9 minutes left in 3rd, as Hope seemed locked into the game. However, you’ll see that was not the case.

A cat I grew up watching, named Toonces, drove cars. So while I don’t know much about cats, I assumed Hope focusing on a hockey game was easier than driving a car.

We’re learning, thank you for your understanding. 🐈

This is a new one for me. Not the sober activity part, but this particular event on the Pier. My two Loving St Pete Team teammates (nearing our 2yr anniversary working together!) sent me their video clips from last week.

Especially loving the recent videos from Becky Suriano! This one of course features Downtown St Petersburg. Far from the sleepy town we knew 40 years ago.

I’ve followed Becky’s drone videos for a long while now. Her stunning content continues to evolve, beautifully showcasing St Pete and our Tampa Bay Area. She’s building a brand and a business that we’ll learn more about soon!
