The Center for Creative Land Recycling (CCLR) and CCEEJ invite you to join us for the webinar “Game Changers: Crafting Community Outreach MVPs (Most Valuable Plans)” on Wednesday, November 20th at 3:30pm PT!

Community engagement is a cornerstone for success in any brownfield reuse project. A strong community engagement strategy will mobilize and empower marginalized communities, inspire informed decision-making and sustainable development, mitigate conflict, increase accountability, and foster long-term stewardship. A land reuse project with a strong approach to community empowerment will: promote equity, uplift the unique identities and needs of a city or town, and lead to longer lasting environmental protection.

This interactive virtual workshop provides an opportunity for attendees to develop their own community outreach plan to take with them into the brownfield redevelopment process. With a team of moderators and facilitators, we will supply a comprehensive framework for attendees to walk away with a closer and more tangible understanding of the significance of community engagement.

The virtual workshop will be especially engaging for folks looking to identify and engage key stakeholders in the redevelopment process, learn new methods for incorporating community feedback into project planning and implementation, and sustain effective communication and outreach to diverse community groups.
