SIG Europe (Special Interest Group Europe-San Diego)

SIG Europe (Special Interest Group Europe-San Diego) Membership is free. We will also assist our area university students who seek employment or further education relating to European trade.

Our Special Interest Group ("SIG") is an inclusive effort in San Diego to educate and facilitate San Diego businesses, large and small, concerning the tremendous trade opportunities available with Europe. Our Special Interest Group ("SIG") was formed at the suggestion of the World Trade Center San Diego and the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce in response to the growing interest in the San D

iego business community in participating in trade opportunities with Europe. Anyone may join the SIG Euro group, and in fact we encourage involvement by all interested parties, including private business-people, representatives of bi-national chambers of commerce, government officials, educators, and students. Our first planning meeting was held on April 18, 2011, and the initial conversations lead to the conclusion that we will stage educational and networking events in San Diego, attempt to draw trade delegations from Europe to San Diego and to explore organizing trade delegations from San Diego to Europe.
