Today, I left a part of my heart in San Diego. I know as a parent, it’s our goal to see that our children leave home and learn to navigate the world on their own, but knowing this doesn’t make it easier to say goodbye. We know you will love your new hometown, , and we are all so happy for you! “The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams.” You are on a great adventure, Hannah, keep living your dreams!! After 2,400 miles of driving, we made it to beautiful San Diego! Now, we’ll get Hannah settled into her new place and spend a few days checking out her new hometown. From what we’ve seen so far, I know she is going to love it here!! 💕 @ San Diego, California

Day 4 of our mother/daughter trip to San Diego. We made two pit stops on our way~Littleton, CO and Moab, UT. Thank you, Pat and Mary, for your hospitality! It was so nice seeing you both and your beautiful hometown of Littleton. I know you love looking out at the Rockies every day! 😍
After CO, we drove to UT. Moab is the cutest little town and borders to two amazing national parks~Arches and Canyonlands! Our country is sooo beautiful!! Next stop, Sedona, AZ!

Life is full of surprises! “There Goes My Life”, the song that used to bring me to tears just thinking about our girls growing up and leaving home, became our reality today. Hannah and I began our cross country road trip to bring her to her new hometown, San Diego, CA! We are so excited for you, Han, as you begin this new exciting chapter of your life, and I am so happy to be part of the journey! We love you! 💕

Happy New Year! 🎉🎉 Each year, I choose a word or two that I try to live by, gratitude is one of my words this year. Today, I am starting an “Attitude of Gratitude” challenge, where I start a gratitude journal, writing at least three things I am grateful for each day. I’m sure this challenge will bring awareness to the many blessings in my life~things I often take for granted. Who wants to join me? 🙋🏼‍♀️🙌🏼
