SDSU Sigma Nu

SDSU Sigma Nu The Eta Kappa Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity at San Diego State University.

Founded by three cadets at the Virginia Military Institute in a period of civil strife known as the Reconstruction, Sigma Nu represented a radical departure from the times. The system of physical abuse and hazing of underclassmen at VMI led to James Frank Hopkins, Greenfield Quarles, and James McIlvaine Riley to form the "Legion of Honor" which soon became Sigma Nu Fraternity. So, amidst a backdro

This past week, Eminent Commander Dylan Dallas and Lieutenant Commander Shane Hourani had the opportunity to attend Sigma Nu’s College of Chapters, a multi-day leadership development conference.

Their time in Virginia was filled with leadership workshops, chapter operations analysis, breakout sessions, and keynote speakers. By focusing on both the strengths and areas of growth within the fraternity, Dylan and Shane return better prepared than ever to lead the Eta kappa chapter of Sigma Nu.
