As the year draws to a close and we gather to celebrate the holidays, JoMay and I want to extend our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones. We hope this season brings you happiness, good health, and a spirit of renewal.

During this time of reflection, I find myself overwhelmed with thankfulness. I am deeply grateful for my family and for the incredible circle of brothers and friends who have supported me on this Masonic journey. Your encouragement, love and support allows me to serve, and for that, I am truly humbled.

I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the craft at large for your continued dedication to service and philanthropy. It is inspiring to witness lodges practicing that all-important lesson of peace and harmony—extending a caring hand to our widows and acting as pillars of light within our local communities.

I must also offer special thanks to the staff of our San Francisco Grand Lodge office, the compassionate teams at our Masonic Homes, Masonic Outreach Services (MOS), and the Masonic Center for Youth and Families (MCYAF), as well as the dedicated brothers serving on our Grand Lodge boards and committees. Your magnificent work ensures the wellbeing of our members across the state and keeps our fraternity strong.

As we celebrate and give thanks for the truly important things in our lives, let us also take a quiet moment to reflect upon those less fortunate. In the true spirit of , let us consider how we might pay it forward to help those in need, ensuring that the light of charity shines bright for everyone this season.

May the Great Architect watch over you and your families.
