We’re celebrating Amber Jones, a dedicated Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) committed to helping individuals build healthier relationships with food. In her work, Amber combines evidence‑based nutrition guidance with practical support, ensuring people understand not just what to eat, but why it matters for long‑term health.

Amber earned her BS in Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University and a BS in Nutrition from Delta State University, grounding her expertise in rigorous training. She also highlights an important distinction: dietitians are the foremost experts on nutrition, while “nutritionist” isn’t a protected title in many states.

Working at the intersection of Public Health, Communications, and Violence Reduction, she shows that healthcare isn’t only in clinics—it’s built through strategic outreach and community safety efforts that address the root causes of harm.

Ariana is a proud graduate of the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communications, holding both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Strategic Communications. By approaching violence reduction through a public health lens, she is helping create safer, healthier environments for all.

Dr. Hunt’s greatness has always been evident. A steadfast and transformative leader, she served as Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Delta Upsilon Omega Chapter President and continues to strengthen Delta Upsilon Omega through committee leadership, mentorship, and consistent engagement. Her regional impact is equally distinguished, with service including PNW Cluster Coordinator, FWR Representative to the International Protocol Committee, FWR Corporate Liaison, 94th FWRC General Conference Committee Chairman, Chapter Protocol Committee Chairman, and Chapter Silver Star Sorority Sister of the Year.
Professionally, Dr. Hunt is a visionary educational leader with over 20 years of service. As Area Superintendent for Seattle Public Schools, she oversees 20 principals, leads strategic implementation, and champions safe, inclusive, student‑centered learning environments.
