EnAct was at Pachanga at Park West in Seguin last Saturday! We were spreading the word about recycling and gave a demonstration to the community about composting at home. It was awesome!

At this point, we're just waiting on the EU states to vote on this plan and approve it, and then we'll see it carried out within months. Our hopes for a positive result are high, it's not the first time the EU have put forward a ban of this kind, and it went through last time! If we all pressure our governments to take this sort of action we could protect bees worldwide!

We're working with Reps. Rodney Anderson, Sarah Davis, Celia Israel, James White and Diego Bernal et al. to pass state legislation that would create a statewide "producer takeback" recycling program for household batteries. Let your lawmaker know to vote for common sense policies like that keep toxic materials out of landfills and support Texas' recycling businesses.
