Thanks to everyone that attended the Alumni Dinner! It was an enjoyable evening with students and alumni. The pictures tell the story. We socialized, ate, played games, solved a fraud mystery, presented all the activities that the Club did over the academic year, and gave away door prizes. We hope that everyone returns next year and for alumni that were unable to attend this year, we hope you can attend next year. We thank all the sponsors for the door prizes and for all the donors that contributed to the Club this year. We could not do it without you! Enjoy the pictures.....

Thank you to our recent alumni panelists last night. The students enjoyed receiving your advice as they plan to enter the workforce. We are so proud of the 4 alumni that answered questions last night - Alex Myers, Abby McCoy, Chris Catlett, and Ben Nutzman. It means so much to have a session for alumni to share experiences and advice to students.

We also thank, Angela Doyle, for moderating the panel. She did an excellent job!!

Thank you, Mr. George Botic, for your presentation on the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) for accounting majors at Shepherd University. Students enjoyed hearing about your career experiences and learning about PCAOB. Mr. Botic is a board member of the PCAOB and a Shepherd alum. We are so proud of him and honored that he came back to Shepherd to share his success story.

Shepherd Accounting Club Sweeps Day of Giving Incentives
Thanks to advocacy, passion, and a really creative video, the Shepherd Accounting Club earned $2,000 extra during the Day of Giving on Wednesday. A generous donor set up two $1,000 challenges for the student group that raised the most money and had the most donors during the 24-hour window.

Day of Giving is Almost Here - Please help us meet Dr. Vance's challenge of 50 donors on Wednesday, March 4. We have created a video to express our sincere appreciation for past donations and a plea for donations for this year's Day of Giving. The video also illustrates our Club activities that were made possible by donations.

Day of Giving is March 4, 2026 -You may make an early gift to help the Club meet Dr. Vance's challenge - If the Club gets 50 donors, Dr. Vance will donate $100 to the Club.
Go to https://www.shepherd.edu/earlygive and enter in your gift amount. For the Accounting Club designation, use the drop down box for additional funds under the Designation section. Then type Accounting Club in the drop down box to find Accounting Club. Then click on the Accounting Club to make the designation.
