Thank you to everyone who joined us tonight at Fielding Lodge #192 F.&A.M to celebrate Mackenzee Litteral as our 2026 Community Builders Award recipient.

A special thank you to Mackenzee and her family for sharing this evening with us. It was truly an honor to recognize someone who has given so much to our community and continues to give so much to our community. This award is well deserved, and we are grateful for all she does to make South Charleston Ohio a better place.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to all of the brothers of Fielding Lodge #192 and their families who volunteered their time to prepare the lodge, cook and serve the meal, and help make the evening a success. Events like this are only possible because of your hard work and dedication.

Tonight was a truly special evening at Fielding Lodge #192 F.&A.M as three members of the Johnson family gathered together in their home lodge.

Pictured from left to right are Right Worshipful Brother Scott Johnson, Most Worshipful Brother Shawn Johnson, Grand Master of Masons in Ohio, and their father, Brother Lenny Johnson, the patriarch of the Johnson family.

Brother Lenny, Brother Scott, and Brother Shawn have each dedicated countless hours of service to Fielding Lodge, Freemasonry, and the communities they serve. Their leadership, commitment, and example have positively impacted not only our lodge but countless lives throughout Ohio.

Together, they represent the very best of Freemasonry—brotherly love, integrity, service, and a dedication to making their communities better places. Their example reminds us that Masonry is not just about what happens within the walls of a lodge, but how we carry those lessons into our homes, workplaces, and communities.

Fielding Lodge #192 is honored to call these men Brothers and grateful for everything they have done—and continue to do—for our lodge, our fraternity, and our community.

The guy who always shows up. The one who coaches the little league team, checks in on his neighbors, and quietly does the right thing when no one’s watching.

He’s already living the values. He just hasn’t found the Brotherhood yet.

Today’s Mason Monday is Brother Josh Fields from Lawrence Lodge #198. Bro. Fields is A Self-Employed, Shriner, Hillbilly and Proud Freemason.

What was it about Freemasonry that made you want to join? Becoming a freemason was important to me because I had seen the good work my father and grandfather had been doing. As members of El Hasa Shriners and the Hillbillies they had been working every year raising money to help support the children of Shriners Children’s and I wanted to be a part of that. I knew what Shriners did but didn’t know much about freemasonry. After being raised as a master mason in a one-day class in 2021, I fell in love with freemasonry. My lodge was very welcoming, and I quickly found a way to serve in the lodge and help out. The more I studied, the more I found out how wonderful masonry is. I am thankful for the Royal Scofield Society that required me to visit other lodges and helped me to meet likeminded freemasons throughout Ohio and Kentucky. It’s a great feeling knowing that any lodge you walk into you will be welcomed. I was honored to serve as worshipful master last year and have truly enjoyed seeing so many men join our lodge and watch it grow with new enthusiasm. I look forward to continuing to help our lodge in the future and help spread the light of masonry. Accepting the Grand Masters award last year on behalf of Lawrence 198 was a great privilege and shows what we can do when we work together. I am very grateful to the officers and brethren of Lawrence 198 as well as the other lodges in our area that have assisted us when called upon for help. I can proudly say the lodges in Lawrence County, Ohio are “Committed to the Craft”.

Today’s Mason Monday is Brother Brian Jenkins from Shelby Lodge #350. Bro. Jenkins is an EMT, A Mentor, Family Centered and a Proud Freemason.

How has your family benefitted from your involvement in the masonic fraternity? My family has benefitted from me being a mason by the fact that I was able to raise not only my father but also my son. Through masonry, my family has grown from my time as Worshipful Master and also as a mentor of brothers who I had a chance to work with. In many respects, these connections with brothers have become as close as connections I have with my family. Finally, I have met and fellowshipped with brothers from all walks of life. I've had the pleasure of being with brothers from not only our great country but from around the globe. These people keep me busy and certainly entertained. Those are the brothers that stand beside me at my highest of highs but also are there to catch me when I fall. They have seen me laugh, they have seen me cry, and they have even been there to help my family physically and financially. They may not be blood but they are all my family.

Brethren, how has your family benefitted from your involvement in the masonic fraternity? Share with us below!
