friendly reminder, on June 13, Gamma Alpha Chapter Alumni will be meeting to attend the Cardinals vs. Royals game in St. Louis. The game is at 3:10pm. We will be meeting prior at Paddy O's at noon (618 S. 7th Street). A suite has been reserved at the stadium and have limited tickets available so it is first come first serve. First 30 to register and pay are in. We will be opening this event to all non-Gamma Alpha St. Louis alumni next week if we have not hit our cap.

The cost is $100. It includes an all-inclusive buffet and bar service 2 hours prior to the game, buffet until one hour after scheduled game time, and bar service will remain open until 21/2 hours after scheduled game time.

This is event is open to AKL Alumni from all Chapters
This is the first event to kick of the new committee for Alumni events. It’s a chance to meet brothers from all chapters, and reacquaint and with some of your own chapter brothers. Also Bryant Gatrell and Jeremey Slivinski will be in town from nationals and the NEC board.
Please join us to hang out, network, socials, eat and have some beverages.

This Friday the refounding members of the Gamma Alpha Colony will be pinned. The event is scheduled at 7:30pm on campus. We have a great group of students and the expansion is generating a lot of interest. We would like to extend an invitation to you to join us for the pinning. If you are interested you can email us at [email protected] and we will provide you the details as they become available.

We apologize in the tardiness of this email. The weather last week and this week has caused some delay in the plans. We were hoping to have the location of the pinning prior to this email however the University, which is making the arrangements for space, has not identified the location yet.

As an aside. Whether you are able to attend or not we would be appreciative of any interest you have in volunteering with the colony. Simply let us know via the email listed above.

MIZZOU ALUMNI WEEKEND - SEPTEMBER 14th - 16th!!!

Gamma Alpha alumni weekend in Columbia, Missouri will be traditionally held over the weekend of the third home game of the Mizzou football schedule. This falls on the weekend of SEPTEMBER 15th this year where Mizzou will play Arizona. This is several months away, so the details of events throughout that weekend (aside from the tailgate at Herveys') will be formalized during the corporate meeting in July.

A good time was had by all who attended the AKL Summer Baseball Event: STL vs KC at Busch Stadium on June 16th. Not only was there a considerable showing from Gamma Alpha, but we also hosted alumni from Xi, Sigma, Beta Nu, Beta Psi and Beta Tau. National representatives were on hand to greet our enthusiastic alumni as well as announce the timeline for re-establishment and expansion at the University of Missouri. Thank you to all who attended and supported this alumni event.

The process of re-establishing the Gamma Alpha chapter has begun. $1,000 per semester "Book Scholarships" have been announced and are being marketed to prospective members. If you know of a reputable young man who will be attending Mizzou in the near future, please go to AKL.org and fill out a "Recruitment Referral" form. Below is a direct link to the Mizzou expansion page.

Mailers to your home address were sent recently detailing the expansion. If you did not receive this mailer, perhaps your most recent contact information is not available. You can update this information at akl.org through the "myAKL" sign in. The system is called Omegafi and contains our alumni database. Simply "Register for Access".
