We know many students and families are watching their accounts closely right now, and we truly appreciate your patience.

Despite the recent inclement weather and campus disruptions, our financial aid team has been working diligently to move funds as quickly and accurately as possible. Financial aid disbursement to student accounts began on Thursday, January 29. Because this is a multi-step process, updates happen in waves rather than all at once.

The Treasurer’s Office began processing refunds on Friday, January 30. Once your financial aid fully posts to your student account, refunds typically take 7–10 business days from the date your aid applies, depending on your refund method.

If you are seeing pending or partially applied aid, that is completely normal at this stage. Please continue to monitor your student account and A-State email for updates as processing continues.

We understand how important these funds are and want you to know our teams are working every day to support you. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we move through this process together.

Weather Delays & Financial Aid Update

Due to recent winter weather and class cancellations, the financial aid timeline has been adjusted.

Census runs tonight at midnight. Financial aid disbursements will begin posting to student accounts tomorrow.

Students are encouraged to check their schedule to ensure everything is correct. If you have questions about your financial aid, please email us at [email protected].

Our team is currently working remotely and assisting students via email.

Financial aid is released based on the academic calendar, with the 11th class day triggering the release of aid. Weather-related class cancellations can shift that timeline, as outlined in the message below.
