💌farewell from Sylvia:
“To my sisters of Kappa Delta Chi,
I honestly don’t even know where to begin because it feels so weird writing this knowing my time here is coming to an end. Joining Kappa Delta Chi was one of the best decisions I made in college. Coming into this chapter of my life, I never could’ve imagined how much this organization would mean to me. What started as joining a sorority turned into finding genuine friendships, unforgettable memories, and a group of women who became such an important part of my college experience.
Thank you for all of the laughs, late nights, advice, support, and memories throughout the years. Thank you for being there during both the good moments and the stressful ones. College can be overwhelming, but having this sisterhood made such a difference in my journey. Kappa Delta Chi gave me more than I expected. It gave me a sense of belonging, opportunities to grow, and experiences I’ll carry with me long after graduation. I’ve learned so much through this organization, not just about leadership and service, but also about myself. It’s definitely bittersweet graduating and moving on to this next chapter. I’m excited for what’s ahead, but it’s hard leaving behind something that has helped shape me into the person I am today. No matter where life takes me, I’ll always be grateful for the role Kappa Delta Chi played in shaping my college years. Thank you for being part of such an important chapter in my life. I’ll always look back on this time with so much love and gratitude.
With love always,
Sylvia “Damara” Rubio”
