What a great way to begin another year at Misericordia! 💙💛

Welcome Week brought so much excitement and energy to campus, with activities from morning to night giving our students plenty of opportunities to connect, get involved and enjoy being part of the Misericordia community.

Friday was especially memorable for me, as I had the chance to perform with QUEST at our tailgate before Misericordia’s first-ever Friday night football game! 🎸🏈 It was wonderful seeing so many students, families, alumni and friends come together for such a historic evening.

Thank you to our Campus Life team and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make the entire week possible.

It’s been a fantastic start, and I’m looking forward to everything this year has in store for our Cougars! 🐾

Before we make Misericordia history with our first-ever Friday night football game, I’ll be joining my fellow Quest bandmates for some live music at the tailgate in the Henry Science Center parking lot!

Come out, enjoy the music and tailgate festivities, and then head down to the field to cheer on our Cougars under the lights. 💙💛

Hope to see plenty of our Misericordia community out there tonight.

What an incredible way to begin a new academic year at Misericordia University! 💙💛

Yesterday was a special day on our campus as we celebrated Move-In Day and Convocation and officially welcomed the largest incoming class in Misericordia University history.

There’s nothing quite like seeing our campus come alive with new students, returning Cougars, families, faculty, and staff all coming together. I had the pleasure of welcoming our newest students at Convocation as they took one of their first steps in what I know will be a memorable Misericordia journey.

Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make Move-In Day and Convocation such a success, and to our families for trusting Misericordia to be a part of this important chapter.

To our newest Cougars: welcome home! I’m excited to see what you accomplish, the friendships you build, and the memories you make along the way.

Here’s to a great year ahead! 🐾

This weekend marked an incredible milestone as our Occupational Therapy program celebrated its Capstone Conclave Ceremony, recognizing graduates and award recipients while showcasing the outstanding capstone projects that reflect months of hard work, research, and dedication.

To our graduates: congratulations on all you've accomplished during your time at Misericordia. Your compassion, perseverance, and commitment to helping others will make a lasting impact in the communities you serve. I can't wait to see where your journey takes you next.

I’m incredibly proud of our students for their outstanding accomplishments at the 101st Annual Meeting of the Pennsylvania Academy of Science, hosted here at Misericordia University for the very first time.

From award-winning research to impressive presentations, our students continue to demonstrate the curiosity, innovation, and dedication that define the Misericordia experience.

Congratulations to Christina Rasa, Cody Palubinsky, and all of our student researchers, along with the faculty mentors who helped make these achievements possible.

What a fantastic week at Misericordia University!

I had the pleasure of spending time with our Academic Summer Camp participants earlier this week, and it was wonderful to see so much curiosity, enthusiasm, and energy across campus. From engaging activities to hands-on learning experiences, these campers made the most of every opportunity.

Summer is a great reminder that our campus is always full of life. Even after the spring semester ends, Misericordia continues to welcome students of all ages who are eager to learn, explore, and grow.

Thank you to our campers, their families, and everyone who helped make this year's Academic Summer Camps such a memorable experience. I hope you had as much fun as I did meeting so many of you.

Education has the power to transform lives, strengthen families, and create opportunity across generations.

That is why I am grateful to share that Misericordia University has received a $200,000 grant through Pennsylvania's Community and Economic Assistance Program to support the Ruth Matthews Bourger Women with Children Program.

This investment will help expand critical services—including housing, childcare, and academic support—that empower single mothers to pursue a college degree while providing a stable future for their children.

I extend my sincere thanks to Senator Lisa Baker for championing this funding and to Senator Judy Ward for her advocacy on behalf of mothers and families throughout Pennsylvania.

At Misericordia, we believe that higher education should be accessible to those with the talent and determination to succeed, regardless of the obstacles they face. This support will help more student mothers persist through graduation, achieve economic mobility, and create lasting opportunities for future generations.

What an incredible two days welcoming the Class of 2030 to Misericordia University!

Our Orientation program was filled with energy, excitement, and the beginning of lifelong connections. It was inspiring to meet so many of our newest students and their families as they prepare to join our community this fall.

This incoming class is especially significant—it is the largest class in Misericordia's history! Thank you to everyone who helped make Orientation such a success and provided such a warm welcome to our future Cougars.

We can't wait to see all of you back on campus this fall. The future of Misericordia is bright, and it starts with the Class of 2030.

Congratulations to Mentor Michelle Conway and our talented Misericordia students on an outstanding showing at the FBLA State Competition in Harrisburg! Their commitment, preparation, and teamwork resulted in Commonwealth finalist honors and multiple placements across team and foundation events.

We are incredibly proud of how they represented our university and look forward to cheering on those who may advance to national competition. Well done, Cougars! 💼🐾
