Cuse Spot

Cuse Spot 'Cuse Spot is a student-run program designed to help SU students make a difference in the community through their individual strengths & talents. WHERE IS IT?

WHAT EXACTLY IS 'CUSE SPOT? Sponsored by the Public Affairs Program of the Maxwell School at Syracuse University and the City of Syracuse Parks, Recreation and Youth Programs, 'Cuse Spot offers an opportunity for SU students to reach out and give back to the surrounding community by getting involved "BEYOND THE HILL"! Students are given the unique ability to design and run programs for Syracuse yo

uth ranging from elementary to middle school age. It is our goal to continue to grow as a program by encouraging SU students to use their special skills, talents and knowledge to design after-school programs that will engage youth and offer them an enriching and fulfilling experience. Some programs previously offered include, but are not limited to, poetry, beginners Spanish and French, cooking, karate, step dancing and more! Basic after school tutoring and homework sessions are also offered. Wilson Park Community Center is only a quick five minute walk past BBB! Syracuse Northeast Community Center is located in the North Side of Syracuse, attached to the Dr. Weeks Elementary school. HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?! Director:
