Northeastern State University Mock Trial We are a University Organization! We are a organization looking to compete this semester in the Mock Trials.

We are determined to raise the money to fund our trips to other schools to compete, but we are also focused on the educational training of Criminal Justice students. We are looking to received materials to practice the LSATs, that are for students to continue further onto law school. You do not have to be a Criminal Justice major, we are a variety of people wanting and looking for new educational

experiences within the university!'

Hey, everyone, Mock Trial will be a class again in Fall 2018. CRJ 3001, CRN 20442. 1 hr of credit, meets on Mondays at 3 p.m. The preview is out for the case - looks interesting! Mock Trial is a lot of fun, quite a bit of work, and I think you'll find it extremely rewarding. We get to travel and compete. Enrollment is open now.

Just a reminder....

Northeastern State University will celebrate its 25th “Lights On” at Seminary Hall ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 5 on the Tahlequah campus. The popular event will bring the NSU and Tahlequah communities together to jumpstart the season while officially lighting the historic Seminary Hall for the holidays.

The event will include performances by a variety of campus and community talent. Hot chocolate will be served.

Tahlequah Mayor Jason Nichols and NSU First Lady Penny Turner will host the event. Special guests will also include NSU President Steve Turner, Miss Northeastern 2017 Carrigan Bradley, Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and the elves. Mrs. Claus will read, “Twas the Night Before Christmas” with a little help from the elves.

Following the performances and the lighting, children will be able to visit Santa Claus inside Seminary Hall and receive a commemorative ornament and a special stocking stuffer from Saint Nick himself. Parents are encouraged to bring a camera to photograph their child with Santa. There will also be a winter wonderland photo booth available for families and friends.

“Lights On” is a celebration open to students and the community at no cost.
