This is my 4th fair in Cherokee County and I am so proud. We did something a little different and took in entries this afternoon. We'll finish taking in 4-H entries in the morning from 8am to noon. About half of the projects are here so far so I'd say it worked pretty well.

My volunteers that helped me today. Ya'll are rockstars and I appreciate you so much! I actually left the building at 6pm on time and that is because of you guys! My parents and kids, ya'll did an amazing job having your entries tagged and entered and ready to go. I thank you for all your hard work.

Tomorrow is dog and cat show, tractor driving and the new chalk art contest. Remember the theme is "wild about the fair" or you can free style it. Check in is at 4pm to 415pm for chalk art.

When I started here I had a goal to have an entry in all divisions of the 4h Indoor Fair. The exhibits haven't shown up, but preregistered that is something in every division including crops and home grounds. Last year we had 660 entries, this year we could possibly have 760! I am so proud of all of you 🍀

Remember fair tags are ready to be picked up.

Entry day is Tuesday from Noon to 6pm and Wednesday from 8am to Noon for 4-H exhibits only.

For entry day, if you want to be here to help put things out and direct traffic, I welcome any and all volunteers.
