IFF Fest?! Already?! You heard correctly. The festival will happen once again towards the end of the school year. Submissions are due by April 9, 2018. We will post information on how to submit soon.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?:
Students in grades 9-12 from Schuylkill county schools (or who are home schooled!) are welcome to submit films.

WHAT SORT OF FILMS ARE ELIGIBLE?:
* Short films, maximum of 15 minutes; films shorter than 10 minutes are recommended but not required (as long as they are no longer than 15 minutes)
* All genres are encouraged. In the past, we have seen music videos, horrors, stop-motion, animations, comedies - you name it.
* Films must be school appropriate - for example, no excessive blood/gore, profanity, and so on. We encourage creativity, but this is not the sort of content we are willing to show to a public audience. Use your best judgement - and feel free to ask if something is okay!

WHAT ARE THE PRIZES?:
* All films submitted are shown at the festival itself
* First, second, and third place cash prizes will be awarded

As many of you are likely aware, IFF began as a project of the Tamaqua Area High School's media club. The event began a decade ago. But it wasn't until this year that we decided to extend the fun for the entire county. We hope to see you there - whether you're submitting a film or simply a patron of the arts!
