First international trip for us as a group of USF Flutes! 🪈
We had a great time in Peru 🇵🇪 - more photos to come but here some of our favorites so far 🤩 - it was amazing to meet, learn from, hear, hang out, and play with other flutists from Peru, Chile 🇨🇱, Colombia 🇨🇴, Costa Rica 🇨🇷, Argentina 🇦🇷, Ecuador 🇪🇨, Brazil 🇧🇷, Italy 🇮🇹….y más!! Thank you for making this possible, everyone 🌍 💕🎉 y muchas felicidades y cariño a todos!!

Yes, Summer is the time for us Floridians to finally get to the beach!!🏝️ But before you do that, here’s a FREE chance to come together and learn some tips and strategies to make sure your flute doesn’t also take a vacation 🤣 no regrets- it’s time to do this! if you’re not sure what it’s like to get started on practicing, this is for you! And also - if you’re preparing for all-state and all-county materials, this is a great to get perspectives from USF Flute a professor, Francesca Arnone

Three large ensemble concerts in one week 🎵🎵🎵 Plus our 🪈studio’s Lunchtime Recital #6 earlier today, and we’re still not done with this week! Flute section rockstars ⭐️ all around - we are super proud of everyone !

= WOW 🤩!!!!!

Plus, we loved hosting visits from four students this week: college tours to studio class visits, to attending classes, to informal lessons…it was great to get to meet you!

What a week, with all of our major ensembles knocking us out! That means it was also a great week for our studio 🤩! USF Symphonic Band and Concert Band Flutes played just great on Tuesday night, same as USF Orchestra Flutes on Thursday, after our USF Spotlight Day and a Lunchtime Recital! And tonight - Chamber Winds featuring chamber music performed by the USF Wind Ensemble!!

Studio Field Trip!! 🌞 we had such a great time playing for Gibbs High School in St. Pete, sharing music by Ran, Quantz, Shekhar, and Kahkonen (how many flutist-composers are there in that line up?!)…thanks for being such a great audience! And then off to a concert 🎶 to hear the amazing Clay Ellerbroek 🔥play the Griffes Poem with 🤩🤩🤩!!!
