FL Poly APICS Student Chapter This club aims to engage students to be involved with the industry by giving them Certification, meetings, and networking events to attend under APICS

The Fl Poly APICS Chapter (affiliation) is here to get students who are in the Science and Technology Management program at Florida Polytechnic University to be more involved in industry before getting there degrees. The APICS chapter helps students studying in the field of logistics, supply chain, and operations management

We plan on hosting and attending networking events, where students part o

f the chapter get to meet future employers. This is a huge first step in getting in the industry

We will also be attending workshops and factory tours. This is where you can further your stills in supply chain, logistics and operations management. Also visiting factories gives you a good idea of the work setting you may be in. Then of course one of our main goals is to get students there certification before graduating. The certification are very important to you as a future employee because most employers want you to be certified. So FL Poly APICS is determined to get your foot in the door and have you a step ahead of everybody else!

Due to weather, we were unable to tour the Port Tampa Bay. fortunately we were able to salvage the trip; attending Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Tampa and going over facility operations. We had a blast!
