Beta Omega is so honored to have received the national Seeking the Heights Award in Member Education at the Alpha Chi Omega National Convention in Florida this weekend! We are so excited to continue striving for excellence in membership education and all areas of chapter life. Pictured below is our president, Jenny, attending a national chapter meeting!

It was an amazing night at Greek Awards for Beta Omega! The chapter received recognition for:

•First Place, Academics

•Third Place, Cleanest House

•Most Improved Chapter

•Excellence in Scholarship, Service, Family, Values, Risk Management, and Recruitment and Retention, as well as being one of two Greek chapters to achieve an overall "excellent" status in the new Standards of Excellence Pilot program

We are so proud to announce that Alpha Chi Omega-Beta Omega had the highest overall GPA of any fraternity or sorority on campus at UT for Fall 2015! Academic interest is one of our five membership criteria, and we couldn't be more thrilled to be recognized for our dedication to academics! Thank you to all of our professors, advisors, parents, and friends for making academic success possible for each and every woman in Alpha Chi- we couldn't do it without your support!

Tonight is the night! Everyone come out to the Alpha Chi house between 10-12am to get some delicious nachos and help us with our fight against domestic violence! You can still buy tickets from any Alpha Chi for $4 and it will be $5 at the door! See you all tonight!!

On September 8th, 2015 the Black Dot Campaign began and offered hope to victims of domestic violence with a single black dot. The purpose is to enable the victims who cannot verbally ask for help, and have a symbol for people to recognize and help them. By simply drawing a black dot on their hands; friends, families, coworkers etc. will be able to see this and aid them in any way possible. Today our chapter wears black dots on our hands to show support of this movement, support of the victims/survivors, and to gain awareness for the fight against domestic violence.
