My alpha gam experience and the girls I have been surrounded by for the past 4 years has been one I describe as joyful, sweet, unwavering, and nurturing. The girls in alpha gam have never failed to make me laugh, believe in me to be a better leader, push me spiritually, and give me a lifetime of friendship! These girls have been rock and I can confidently say I am better because of them. This year I have had the honor and privilege to serve as Vice President of Member Experience. This role has allowed me to support each member and encourage close knit relationships throughout the chapter. My goal has been to enhance our sisterhood experience and create lasting connections through our programs and constant support! Being able to serve in this position has brought me so much joy and there are not enough words of gratitude for what Alpha Gam has done and given to me. I couldn’t do it without the support of my Member Experience team and every girl in this sisterhood! Praise God for his generosity and kindness to give me women like these that I get to spend each day with! 🩵🩵🩵

When I think of Alpha Gam, I think of the gift that keeps on giving! This chapter is full of girls who love the Lord, care for others deeply, and lead so well! Over the past 3 years in Alpha Gam I have had the honor and privilege of learning from a plethora of leaders. These women have poured into me and are a large reason I am in the position I am today. The girls in this chapter have pushed me to accomplish more than I thought possible, and I am so thankful to be able to pour everything I have been taught right back into our members! Being in my senior year of nursing school, caring for others has quickly become my passion. Through my position as VP of Chapter Wellness I am able to prioritize the wellbeing of each individual member of our chapter! My goal as Chapter Wellness is to ensure each member understands the importance and upholds the values of Alpha Gam, but also that each member may feel loved and cared for! I will forever be indebted to Alpha Gam for the gifts it has given me and for making an unforgettable impact on my life!

Hi everyone! My name is Kayley Patterson!! I’m a sophomore from Daphne, Alabama, pursuing a BSN at Troy. Pledging Alpha Gam has not only brought me my best friends but also made me the person I am today. A few ways my friends would describe me are enthusiastic, honest, and funny. There are no words for how special alpha gam is to me and the joy it has brought me! I am so excited to see God's plan for the rest of my time here at Alpha Gam!

I met Kaci around this time last year when she became my perfect little. I’m so thankful for Alpha Gam because, without it, I wouldn’t have had the chance to get close to her. However, I’ll never let Alpha Gam or the big/little titles define our friendship because it goes far beyond our time together at Troy. Kaci will always be more to me than just a sorority sister or little; she’s the girl who always leaves my heart better than she finds it. I’ve seen firsthand how she cares for others, always going out of her way to make those around her feel loved and valued. This is a friendship I’ve been praying for my whole life, one where we go through life together learning what to looks like to serve the lord and better His kingdom though our friendship. I just can’t help but love her!

Ever since the beginning of my freshman year, Eliza has been the most consistent and intentional friend. She has the purest heart and everyone around her can feel how genuine her love is. She is the definition of a Christ-like friend and always has room at her table for me. When I needed someone the most, she was the one who made me feel loved and valued. I truly wouldn’t be the person I am today without her constant guidance and encouragement, and I strive to love others the way she does. If I ever need a shoulder to cry on, a ride to go get ice cream, or even someone to talk about bees, she’s right there. I can’t thank the Lord and Alpha Gam enough for giving my big, my role model, and most importantly, my best friend.
