National Crime Victims’ Rights Week recognizes the progress of the victims’ rights movement while continuing to address ongoing barriers that prevent individuals from accessing justice, protection, and support. It highlights the importance of ensuring that all victims are treated with dignity, respect, and fairness throughout the justice process.
This week serves as a call to action to support survivors, raise awareness about victimization, and promote access to critical services such as advocacy, counseling, legal assistance, and crisis intervention. It also encourages communities to listen to survivors’ experiences and work toward systems that are more responsive and inclusive.
Supporting survivors is a shared responsibility rooted in compassion, respect, and advocacy. By working together, we can help create safer communities and ensure that those impacted by crime have the resources and support needed to heal and rebuild their lives.

Raising awareness, starting conversations, and building a community that values respect and consent 💙
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, participated in activities, and took the time to learn more about what healthy relationships look like. Every conversation matters, and every voice helps create change.
A special thank you to all of our incredible community agencies and partners who came out to support this event. Your presence, resources, and commitment to educating and empowering others play such an important role in creating safer, more informed communities. We truly appreciate the time and effort you put into showing up and making a difference.
Let’s keep showing up, supporting one another, and reminding each other that consent, respect, and empowerment are essential every day, not just this month. 💙

The most dangerous time in an abusive relationship is during a breakup and after you have left your partner. During this period, you partner may escalate their aggression to keep you from leaving.
These are just a few precautionary steps you can take to keep yourself safe. Visit One Love’s Education Center at the link in our bio to download the full Breakup Planning Guide for free!
Remember, asking for help to leave a relationship that no longer makes you happy or threatens your safety is a sign of strength, and there is no weakness in leaning on the people and resources around you.💙
