Annual Dr. Mother Grace Tucker Day The format of celebrations have varied from year to year. She recently celebrated her 93rd birthday.

Annual day to pay tribute to, and honor Dr. Mother Grace Tucker - Minister, Humanitarian, Community Leader, Advocate for the poor, underprivileged and underserved. MOTHER TUCKER DAY is the annual day designated by Governor George Nigh in the State of Oklahoma to recognize the contributions and community services rendered by Mother Grace Tucker. The initial Day designated was May 6, 1986.Since tha

t time there has been an effort to commemorate Mother Grace Tuckers Community Service accomplishments each year on or near May 6th. Most every will culminate in banquet.In 2001 the celebration included receiving an Honorary Doctorate from Oral Roberts University, and the initial publication of her book “The Mother Grace Tucker Story”.The main focus of the event is intended to be the honoring, and celebration of the Community Service accomplishments of Mother Grace Tucker.It is my desire that Mother Tucker Day 2012 be an especially significant celebration. We are so blessed to still have her with us.In 2007 the Grace Tucker Foundation was established for the purpose of preserving and perpetuating the causes to which she has devoted her life.
