Did you know that the TLC has contracted with Tutor.com to provide evening and weekend tutoring to students for free? Log into your class on D2L, select "Course Support" in the course navigation bar, and click on "Tutor.com." There's tutoring, success coaching, writing assistance, career development/job search support, and a variety of other free resources!

Don't wing it alone this winter! Get your ducks in a row by scheduling an appointment on the main campus or online Monday-Thursday from 8 am to 6 pm and Fridays from 8 am to 4 pm. (Downtown Saginaw Center will have a consultant available on Thursday mornings from 8:30 am-12:00 pm AND Downtown Midland Center is scheduled for a consultant on Mondays 9 am-3 pm). Don't duck out after class; we'll help you quack your assignments!

Has it been a while since you've solved a linear equation or graphed a polynomial function? We've got you! The TLC and math faculty are partnering to provide FREE additional support for MATH 122: College Algebra this winter!

MTH 122 TABLE (TLC) - DROP-IN SUPPORT FOR COLLEGE ALGEBRA
On Mondays, from 12:30-1:30 pm, AND Tuesdays, from 10-11 am, we have a MTH 122 Table on the main campus in the Teaching & Learning Center! Bring your class notes, ask questions, and strengthen your math skills!

MTH 122 STUDY GROUP- LIBRARY STUDY ROOM 1 (A136)
We also have a study group (facilitated by a TLC Learning Consultant) on Wednesdays, from 2-3 pm, AND Thursdays, from 12:30-1:30 pm. Come review course concepts with other students, share study strategies/tips, work through sample problems, and ask questions!

Join our Student Development Specialists in an online, interactive workshop designed to set up new nursing students for success! In addition to exploring why previous study strategies won't work in nursing, we'll demonstrate evidence-based ones that do! Students will also learn how to interrupt the forgetting curve by planning active study sessions (so they remember information for tests).
