Congratulations to pharmacy administration graduate students Prachi Prajapati and Shadi Bazzazzadehgan on receiving the 2026 Applied Statistics Student Research Awards, presented by the University of Mississippi Graduate Minor in Applied Statistics Program.

They were recognized for their paper, “The Association of Opioid Prescribing Continuity and the Risk of Opioid Use Disorder Among Older Adults,” published in Drug and Alcohol Dependence in 2025.

Co-authors include Yi Yang, Kaustuv Bhattacharya, Shishir Maharjan, John Bentley, and Sujith Ramachandran.
