After months of preparation, today the Eta and Gamma Upsilon chapters teamed up to host the first ever Derby Days Open! Collectively our chapters raised over $3,000 to go towards funds for the week of Derby Days and enjoyed some fellowship among our chapters! Huge thanks to our sponsors, huge thanks to everyone who participated, huge thanks to Mississippi State Sigma Chi , and huge thanks to the people over at Mossy Oak Golf Course! This was an awesome way to finish parent’s weekend, and we are excited to do this event in the future!

Sigma Chi Derby Days 2019

Every spring since 1963, the Eta Chapter of Sigma Chi has hosted Derby Days, the fraternity’s primary philanthropic event. The week-long effort includes various fundraising and community-building events that will all benefit the Huntsman Cancer Institute.

This year, our efforts will benefit both the Huntsman Cancer Institute and the family of our brothers, Hayes Newcomb, who recently lost his mother to cancer.

With the help of the Ole Miss student body and the Oxford community, we hope to be the generation that ends cancer!

Any and all support is welcome for this exciting and eventful week!
