Did you know that health insurance fees can go up to as high as $3901 per year for graduate students studying in the United States?

Federal law requires all international students to have health insurance, which is why UCLA enrolls all students into UCSHIP and automatically adds the insurance fee into the tuition bill. However, such adequate protection does not have to be so expensive.

Student Medicover is a credible health insurance broker of UnitedHealthcare. With only 15 minutes, you can complete an insurance waiver that can easily change your UCSHIP into a more affordable plan of only $1142/year, saving you up to $2700!

The link to the waiver guide:

The waiver deadline is September 20th.
