Central's CS Department is hiring for two tenure track positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in Computer Science: Cybersecurity starting in Spring or Fall 2025. Central was just designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations (CAE-CO). This makes it the first institution in New England that is both a center of Cyber Operations and Cyber Defense. The CS Department offers an ABET-accredited CS program and MS in Software Engineering.

CCSU will be hosting a cybersecurity camp July 18th through July 22nd, 2022. The camp is aimed at rising 7th-12th graders as an opportunity to learn about the cybersecurity field and careers through hands-on activities led by CCSU faculty and industry experts. This GenCyber camp is being sponsored by the National Security Agency (NSA) and is free for accepted students. Applications must be submitted by Sunday, May 15th.
